I want to take a few minutes to discuss our club’s recent activity and some upcoming events. Several of our Board and Club members recently participated at the Oklahoma City Boat, RV, Hunting and Tackle Show at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds. This was a great show and we were able to meet new crappie fishermen/women from all over the state. We had a designated Booth and were able to not only re-sign existing members from 2019, but were able to sign up dozens of new members! Special thanks to Donnie Carter for not only helping in our booth, but providing lodging in his sweet travel trailer. We also just had our first Bass Pro Shops Club meeting in Broken Arrow, OK. We had Todd Huckabee as our guest speaker. We filled the room and had over 50 guests, it was a great turnout for sure.
Looking forward, we are set to have our first Tournament of the year at Tom Stead Lake on February 22nd. Be sure to get all the details on our website. In March, we will have our second club meeting at Bass Pro Broken Arrow at 7:00 on 3-2-2020. Our second tournament will be on March 21st at Hugo Lake. As you can see, 2020 is off and running!
