Monthly Meeting @ Bass Pro Shop Broken Arrow July 8th at 7:00

This month we are privileged to have Josh Johnston come and share with us. Josh is the Northeast Region Fisheries Supervisor for the Oklahoma Department of wildlife. He has a BS in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology and a MS in Natural Resources Ecology and Management.

We will cover the biology and life history of crappie, and explain management techniques for the species and in differing situations. He will be using examples and maybe some sampling data from local water bodies as case studies.

What that means is that if you want to know how we as anglers can improve the crappie population, in particular the tournament quality fish in our lakes than you need to be here. As I visited with Josh I was able to understand more about how we as anglers can manage this resource, I encourage everyone who can make it to come out and ask questions.

If you can’t make it that is fine, we will be live on Facebook thru our members only page. If your not a member you can join up at OkCrappie.com . If you are already a member be sure to request membership OK Crappie – Members Only

See you there on Monday July 8th in the Conservation room of the Bass Pro Shop in Broken Arrow. The meeting will start at 7 and will last until all your questions are answered.
